Card Assignment
Uses in the Classroom: This
activity could be for 7th or 8th graders in an
introductory business class as part of a lesson on business promotion. It could also be utilized as a single
assignment for 4-6 grades as a Language or Computer Skills lesson. Skills that will be developed by completing
this assignment include recognizing, identifying, naming, (when deciding what
category of business card designs would best depict their business type)
comparing and outlining (when deciding between several chosen designs and deciding
what information should be included on the card), and designing, planning, and
producing as they take the project from start to finish.
Issues to Consider: This
assignment requires basic computer skills.
Internet access is needed.
